This Directory of awards is ICDA's current "Official Roster of Distinguished Awards." The Directory contains all of those awards currently recognized by ICDA as "Distinguished Awards" pursuant to its "Awards Criteria." This Directory is an evolving listing of "distinguished" awards and is meant to be updated from time to time as new awards are created, as ones currently on the list are suspended, and as information on each award is changed and is brought to our attention. Comments and suggestions on the listing are welcome.
Links are available for direct access to each Award's home page or further information regarding the award itself.
The awards are listed alphabetically by the "key word" in the name of the award or prize. Thus the "John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur" prizes are know as the "MacArthur Prizes." They are thus listed under the letter "M". But as the "Van Cliburn Piano Prizes" are known as the "Van Cliburn Prizes," the are listed under the letter "V."
