The workshops will feature presentations on topics such as Awards
Management concerns, available ICDA databases, managing nominations,
and more. We will hold an awards roundtable Q&A session which,
given the changing environment in the world of awards, should be a
particularly lively and engaging discussion. Look for more details
to follow.
The International Congress of Distinguished Awards (ICDA)—the
world’s only organization formed to promote a greater awareness
of the most distinguished awards given internationally—has recently
established a new fundamental program in the service of the world
of awards: The Awards Management Institute. The purpose of this new
initiative is to expand the appreciation of awards and award giving
in all realms of human civilization; to provide information and data
concerning the world’s greatest awards and award programs; and
to inform and provide training in essential professional skills for
those individuals with the responsibility of administering award programs.
