Membership in ICDA is open to any organization or individual in the world of awards or to those who wish to learn more about that world. Since ICDA was conceived as a forum for the gathering of award programs to explore common concerns, its voting membership is by organization. Individuals receive the same information benefits as organizations, but do not vote in official deliberations or elections; nor are they recognized in publications.

Sponsor Members (Annual Dues $500.00): Full voting membership for organizations wishing to further support the activities and research of ICDA and for awards fully sanctioned by ICDA on its "Official Roster of Distinguished Awards."

Basic Membership (Annual Dues $250.00): Full voting membership for organizations and institutions with award programs, including corporations, foundations, peer group and professional societies, associations, performance competitions, and fellowship awards; and for organizations, such as universities and research institutions, seeking to be fully current on important award programs.

Individual Members (Annual Dues $300.00): Non-voting membership open to individuals wishing to know more about the world of awards, including jury members, trustees, consultant, research administrators, and individuals investigating the creation of new award programs.
